Le Big En Weekend - Friday 10th to Monday 13th February2012 - Don't miss this one! The 19th weekend event; at a new venue and they just get better and better.

Yes we are a week earlier than our normal dates and our venue is a superb Georgian Hall in Chesterfield. All the facilities that you are used to plus a 12 metre swimming pool, steam room, sauna, air conditioned gym to name but a few of the extras.

A beautiful Georgian listed Manor House
close to the historic market town of Chesterfield,
at the gateway to the Peak District National Park.

A popular base for visitors to The Peak District, Ringwood Hall Hotel
is peacefully set in 29 acres of award winning grounds, and
our 200 year old  main house is sited well away from the
 main road behind a mature tree line. We can be easily found
from junctions 29 & 30 of the M1, and provide 
complimentary parking for over 150 vehicles.

Bolsover Castle, Hardwick Hall and Chatsworth House are nearby,
while The Heights of Abraham, Cresswell Craggs
and many of the other varied attractions of the Peak District
National Park are within easy travel. Sheffield is only ten miles
away, and the Meadowhall Shopping Centre
is just 15 minutes drive north on the M1.

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful
Georgian grade 11 listed Manor House, please enjoy our grounds
which won with a gold award the best hotel gardens category
in the prestigious 2008 and 2009 East Midlands in Bloom
competitions, and also won a Silver Gilt award in the 2010 competition.

We are delighted to announce that Ringwood Hall Hotel
has won a 2011 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence!
Trip Advisor awards this certificate to properties who
consistently receive excellent ratings from their members.

Friday 10th February

Arrive Friday afternoon and enjoy some tea with crumpets and hot buttered teacakes served in the lounges, complete with log fires as they arrive to start off with the right ambiance.

The evening starts with a pre-dinner bucks fizz reception at 7.00pm with dinner seating from 7.30-7.45pm. A gala meal followed by live entertainment and dancing throughout the evening.

Saturday 11th February

Full English breakfast will be served from 8.00am until 10.00am and then some shopping with traders’ stalls in one of the downstairs rooms.

Lunch will be served between 12noon and 2.00pm in the Coach House Restaurant. This will be a 2 course hot and cold buffet lunch.

Our famous Concord Quiz will commence between 2 – 2.30pm.

Afternoon tea will be served from 3.00pm until 4.30pm,

At 7.00pm a champagne reception with canapés will be provided for guests.

Dinner will be served at 7.30pm. This meal would be 4 courses to include cheeseboard which would be left on the tables for guests to “nibble” during the entertainment for the evening.

Those guests wishing to have quieter tables would be accommodated in the Conservatory of the Ringwood Suite to enable them to converse more readily whilst the entertainment is playing.

A late resident’s bar is provided until 2.00am.

Sunday 12th February

Full English breakfast will be served buffet style from 8.00am until 11.00am with a late checkout time offered to guests of midday.

For those lucky people staying Sunday night a full carvery lunch would be served between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.

Afternoon tea and scones will be served at 3.30pm until 4.30pm.

Sunday night dinner followed by a Murder Mystery event

Throughout the weekend the Health and Fitness Facilities would be available to all our guests during their normal opening hours which on a Friday are 7.00am to 7.00pm and Saturday and Sunday 8.00am until 6.00pm. The Health and Fitness Club has a 12 metre swimming pool, steam room, sauna and well equipped air conditioned gymnasium.

You can also pre-book treatments from our Health and Beauty Therapists, a list of available treatments with some discounted rates will be available.

Throughout the weekend a range of magazines and newspapers will be made available within the lounge areas for you to relax and enjoy.

Friday & Saturday is just £180 per person
Friday, Saturday & Sunday is just £248 per person

Also this year, for those that are able, 'we' are taking bookings for those that would like to stay Thursday night at a special reduced rate. If you wish to add Thursday night (DBB) it’s just £59.50 per person
