Where do you stand? What happens if you get stopped while out dressed? What should you do? How would they treat you? How should you treat them? Recognise any of the above questions? If you don't you should do! You need to be socially aware of the consequences of your actions and be prepared to deal with any repercussions. The Official Policy What we have here is the official Police policy for dealing with transvestites and transsexuals, although it is written in "Police Speak" it is still understandable. It sets down an honest and fair approach to minimise the embarrassment factor of being caught out in a frock! Read it, learn it, - I'll be asking questions later! The Unofficial Common Sense Advice Our second piece of information is not official Police policy. The article is written by a serving Police officer to try to give you a guide as what and what not to do when out dressed and how to deal with Police officers if stopped. It's common sense approach is aimed at easing any unpleasantness and embarrassment, hopefully before it starts. The story was first published in 'Cross Talk' magazine.
